Policy & Impact

LEARN supports evidence‑informed education policymaking by translating research on educational inequalities into practical resources, tools, and collaborative activities.

The project brings together longitudinal and comparative evidence from across Europe to improve understanding of how educational inequalities develop over time, and to support policymakers in designing and evaluating effective responses. LEARN works closely with policy actors at national, sub‑national, and European levels to ensure that evidence is accessible, relevant, and usable in real policy contexts.

This section brings together LEARN’s policy‑focused work, including evidence reports, practical toolkits, and opportunities for collaboration and learning.

Policy Briefs provide concise evidence summaries for policy and practice.

LEARN policy briefs translate research findings into clear, accessible insights for policymakers and education stakeholders. They synthesise evidence from longitudinal data analysis and systematic reviews, focusing on key educational stages, transitions, and policy interventions.

The briefs highlight what is known about how inequalities emerge and persist, and provide evidence‑based considerations to support policy development and decision‑making.
